Thanks for your early detection interest. We've promoted it for several years and interest

was high but use was low because of three items.

1--They had to remember to run the report, assign personnel and provide a remediation

method. We found that there was no management infrastructure to provide execution

except the SBLC committee which is primarily focused on SPED. Our new approach

is to provide an automated EDIT each Wednesday with calls and emails to staff and

parents. Objective is to get timely interdiction.

2--What action is needed? Actions could be different if timelines are off. Our objective

is to supply immediate staff and parent connections through MEG and the Parent web.

3--Timely data. The parent web is real time with no integration software needed. If a

teacher post an incomplete grade, the parent is notified when the posting occurs via

the text to voice over IP call and email systems. It is also immediately available on the

parent web.   

We also keep an interdiction notification needed stats file. This file is used

in the District Attorney process for Truancy.

As our client districts use the system we get many requests for changes, which

is and will keep the product tuned for La. needs.
